We Learn By Doing, Solving Real Problems, And Race As A Team!
UI Racing Team. A group of university students, a select few of talented individuals, sharing the same goal: to compete in the Formula Student competition. UI Racing Team is where engineering prowess faces real world challenges, pushing the limits of innovation while fostering teamwork. We don’t just build and cars. We research, model, simulate, manufacture, validate, negotiate, collaborate; and then we race. At UI Racing Team, we craft the future of motorsport.
We aim to showcase the skills of Indonesia’s future engineers and creative talents on the international level. From the classrooms of Indonesia’s best university into the race track, we secured Top 6 Overall Score in Formula Bharat 2022 and recently in Formula Student Czech 2023, where we secured 7th in Business Plan, 10th in Cost and Manufacturing, and 14th in Engineering Design of more than 50 teams from 15+ countries participating on the competition.
That is just the beginning of our next journey, as we aim to leave a mark by competing in the 2024 Formula Student competitions in Europe with a brand-new and improved race car. Supported by Indonesia’s best university, our goal is not just to make a race car during our university years. Our ambition is not just to represent Indonesia in the international level, but also to train and cultivate Indonesia’s future engineer.
