As the 2025 season draws closer, the UI Racing Team is proud to share the latest update on the development of our newest race car — UIRT-03. After months of rigorous design and planning, the team has made substantial progress in the manufacturing stage, bringing our vision steadily into reality.
In the Vehicle Dynamics division, the team has reached a significant checkpoint: the suspension system has achieved rolling chassis status, marking the car’s ability to support its own weight on wheels. At the same time, we’re currently in the process of manufacturing the differential mounting — a key structure for power transfer — and machining the steering collar, an essential component for precise control and driver feedback.
Meanwhile, the Electrical division is focused on executing the full wiring process to prepare for system integration and functionality testing. In parallel, the team is optimizing the Brake System Plausibility Device (BSPD), ensuring our safety systems are calibrated to meet competition standards and real-world reliability.
On the Body and Aero side, we’re thrilled to report that the main body manufacturing and finishing is complete. The team is now shifting focus to the aerodynamic devices, which play a crucial role in handling, speed, and fuel efficiency on the track.
The Engine division is progressing as well. Currently, the intake plenum is under development, while we are in search of a manufacturing partner for the exhaust system, ensuring both power and durability meet the high-performance standards we aim for.
Beyond the shop floor, all these efforts are aligned toward a major milestone on the horizon: our first test drive, scheduled for next month. In preparation for this, the team will also begin the driver selection and training process, ensuring that both the car and its driver are operating at peak performance when we hit the track.
In addition to our ongoing development, we are excited to announce that UI Racing Team will be participating in the upcoming INAPA 2025 (Indonesia International Auto Parts, Accessories and Equipment Exhibition) on May 21-23. This event serves as a premier platform for showcasing advancements in automotive technology and provides an excellent opportunity for us to connect with industry professionals, potential partners, and fellow enthusiasts. Our presence at INAPA 2025 underscores our commitment to innovation and collaboration within the automotive community.
